What is Qoya? Qoya classes are founded on the idea that through movement, we remember. We remember as women that we are wise, wild, and free. Wise, wild, and free also draws reference to the movement forms we practice. Wise from the wisdom of yoga. Wild from the wildness and creative expression of dance. Free in our feminine movement - to slow down and revel in the pleasure of moving how our bodies want to move. There is no way you can do it wrong; you know you are doing it right when it feels good in your body.
In Qoya, we focus less on how it looks and more on how it feels. There's no beginner, intermediate or advanced levels because there's just one level. When it feels good, you know you're doing it right. Qoya encourages a shift from seeking external validation to reclaiming the innate ability to move the way that you want to move.

I believe there is no one way, nor right way to heal. It’s a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and a whole lot of courage. Every person is different. My path as a healer began by starting to heal my own trauma through integrative body therapies and energy healing practices. Through movement, I started to truly find my voice. I am a certified Qoya teacher, Reiki master and Holistic Pelvic Care™ practitioner. My intention as a teacher is to offer women the tools to journey into wholeness.
