I believe humans are beautifully complex beings with a mind, body, and spirit - to isolate healing to only one of these areas is to significantly limit potential growth. Therefore, as a therapist I seek to create a non-judgmental safe space where you can begin to tap into your inner wisdom by paying attention to your full experience in the present moment.

 

I use a variety of mindfulness, art-based, and experiential techniques to identify and explore patterns, narratives, and systems that have held you back from living a full, meaningful life.

My approach to therapy is a highly individualized and collaborative process - a supportive honest relationship between therapist and client. I invite curiosity and introspection to listen to the messages your body sends, while also providing a mirror to help you see yourself more clearly. Together, we will work on moving from a place of fear and feeling “stuck” to freedom, creativity, and playfulness.

My specialties include working with trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship dynamics and communication. I have extensive experience in working with adolescents, families, and adults. I am trained in EMDR, and integrate somatic-based skills from this training in all of my work.

 

I have worked in day-treatment, schools and community mental health which have provided me with experience in treating individuals from diverse communities, identities, and cultural backgrounds. I welcome and validate all identities, specifically the LGBTQ+ community, and I am committed to anti-racism work both in and out of my clinical practice.

In order to show up fully for others, I prioritize my own self-care by reading, practicing yoga and meditation, and dancing (preferably to live music)! I love exploring the Colorado mountains and Southwest desert, cooking new recipes with friends, traveling internationally, and visiting my family across the U.S.
